Benefits of a Disney Dining Plan at Disney World

​

Disney's Dining Plan is, in our opinion, one of the best things about a Disney World vacation! It's as close to an "all-inclusive" vacation as we have ever experienced inside the US. There's 4 different dining plan options, but we think the Disney Dining Plan is the best value.

 

Each member of your party will get:

• 1 table service meal per night of stay– Includes most character dining experiences, buffets, and special venues such as the countries of Epcot. While the vast majority of sit-down restaurants are included in your dining plan, some special restaurants will require two credits for one meal.

​

• 1 quick service meal per night of stay– This is Disney's version of fast food, but in my opinion, much better. Quick service meals are delicious and served in generous portions (some meals you could split between two people) and always served with a beverage.

​

• 2 snacks per night of stay– Almost everything on-property that's under $5 counts as a snack and there are hundreds of choices! Mickey ice cream bars, popcorn, or the famous Dole Whip are some to name a few. Everything is well-marked so you can navigate the options. Some snacks could even be a light meal.

​

• 1 refillable beverage mug– This special mug has a computer chip in it which activates at your home resort's food court. Use it for unlimited coffee, tea, soda, juice, etc. (We recommend not bringing your refillable mug into the parks. The mugs only work at your resort and your meals in the parks will include a beverage).

 

One of the great things about this plan is that the meals aren't "use or lose" each day. Each family member gets credits issued to their complimentary Magic Band based on the nights of their stay.

Example: 7 night stay = 7 Table Service, 7 Quick Service, 14 Snacks per person

 

The Disney Dining Plan is a huge money-saver for many. The Disney Dining Plan is only offered to on-site guests, which makes it special and speaks to its great value. Advance dining reservations are recommended for the best options. For the first time ever, Disney is also including beer and cocktails for adults 21+ with table service meals.
